Total privacy at the touch of a button.
Switchable smart glass turns any panel from crystal-clear to fully frosted in an instant — no blinds, no drapes, no hardware on the glass. The film is laminated inside the unit, so it switches edge-to-edge with nothing to dust, snag, or wear out.
How it works
A PDLC layer sits between the panes. Off, the crystals scatter light and the panel reads as soft frosted white. A low-voltage current aligns them and the glass goes crystal-clear — in under a second, silently.
Where you can spec it
Entry doors, accordion folding patio walls, pivot doors, and fixed panels. Any glass opening we build can carry smart glass — ask the studio about your opening.
Why owners choose it
Bathrooms and street-facing entries get instant privacy. Great rooms keep the view by day and close up at night. And frosted mode still passes light, so rooms stay bright while fully private.
The same wall. Two moods.

Smart glass, straight answers
Does it work if the power goes out?
The glass defaults to frosted (private) with no power, and switches clear when energized. Your privacy never depends on the grid.
How is it controlled?
Wall switch, remote, or smart-home integration — it wires like a light circuit and can join scenes with your lighting and shades.
Does frosted mode block light?
No — it diffuses it. Rooms stay bright and daylit while sightlines are completely blocked.
Can I retrofit it into a door I'm buying now?
Smart glass is built into the insulated glass unit at fabrication, so spec it when you order. Tell the studio which panels you want switchable and we'll quote it with your door.
